Founded in 2018 by Sokratis Papafloratos, Numan is a digital health provider that has built an integrated technology platform to deliver personalised care to patients so they can live happier, healthier, longer lives.
Numan’s holistic service combines integrated diagnostics, medication, and telemedicine, bespoke treatment plans and expert clinical care, all within one platform. The company has raised $75 million in funding, built a team of over 250 people across offices in Central London and Cardiff, and helped over 600,000 patients with health issues ranging from obesity management to testosterone deficiency and erectile dysfunction.
Prior to Numan, Papafloratos backed some of Britain’s best start-up tech businesses, and founded three of his own. He was one of the first investors in the award-winning Calm.com mindfulness app, as well as Secret Escapes, one of the world’s leading members-only travel companies. Sokratis founded his first company in 2006: the UK’s earliest local reviews site, TrustedPlaces, which was then acquired by Yell Group.
