Testosterone deficiency is often difficult to diagnose due to its wide range of symptoms, many of which can overlap with other health issues.

In the video, Dr Angela Wright, one of Numan’s hormone specialists and testosterone experts, covers the core symptoms that you should be aware of if you suspect a hormonal imbalance.

Watch the video below for a breakdown of the core symptoms of testosterone deficiency.

Key symptoms to watch out for

  1. Fatigue & low energy

Constant tiredness and a lack of energy could be linked to testosterone deficiency, especially if it's not due to other lifestyle factors.1

  2. Low mood & depression

Testosterone plays a role in regulating mood. A drop in testosterone can lead to irritability, low mood, or even depression.1

  3. Sleep issues & brain fog

Difficulty sleeping or waking up tired may coincide with mental cloudiness or inability to focus - both signs of a hormone issue.1

  4. Loss of morning erections

A more specific indicator is the loss of regular morning erections, a hallmark of declining testosterone levels.1

  5. Reduced libido & sexual desire

A noticeable decrease in sexual interest, whether with a partner or solo, could point to a hormonal imbalance.1

  6. Loss of vitality

Many people report feeling like they've lost their "spark," lacking enjoyment in activities they used to love.1

The numan take

If you’re experiencing one or more of these symptoms, it’s worth considering testosterone deficiency as a possible cause. Start by taking a blood test.
