When on the Numan Weight Loss Programme, it’s important to log your weight routinely each week. But we understand that you might already be tracking your weight. And that’s brilliant, as keeping an eye on your progress is a key part of your health journey. However, it’s equally important that you share your weight data with us here at Numan, for a number of reasons.

Why our clinical team needs your weight data

Your weight loss progress isn’t just a figure on the scale—it’s an indicator that helps our clinical team tailor your treatment plan. Regularly updated weight data allows us to monitor how well your current medication and dosage are working for you. By giving us your weight measurements, you give us the information we need to make timely adjustments, ensuring you’re on the right path to achieving your health goals.

If we don’t receive any weight measurements from you for three months, we’ll need to pause your treatment plan. This isn’t something we take lightly, but it’s necessary to ensure that we’re providing the best care possible. Without this data, we can’t accurately assess how your treatment is progressing, which could affect your results.

How to sync Google Health or Apple Health with the Numan app

It’s pretty straightforward to integrate your information if you’re already using Google Health or Apple Health to track your weight. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Open the Numan app: Go to the Home page.

  2. Press the account icon: You’ll find this in the upper left corner of the screen.

  3. Select Google Health or Apple Health: Navigate to the section that corresponds with the app you’re using.

  4. Turn on the “import weight from health” setting: This will allow your weight data to automatically sync with the Numan app.

Just set it up once, and the data will flow seamlessly into the Numan app without you having to manually input your data each time you weigh yourself.

What if you’re using a different app?

Unfortunately, the Numan app is yet to be integrated with other weight-tracking apps. You’re therefore going to have to manually log your weight in the Numan app as well. While it might seem like an extra step, it’s still important that our clinical team has all the information they need to give you the best treatment experience possible. This allows us to maintain a clear, up-to-date picture of your progress, so we can continue to support you effectively on your health journey.

The numan take

While it’s great that you’re already tracking your weight, sharing that information with Numan is essential for your treatment plan. Regularly logging your weight in our app—or integrating it with Google Health or Apple Health—ensures that our clinical team can make the best decisions for your health. If you have any questions or need assistance with syncing your data, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team—we’re here to help every step of the way.
